Intel 2915abg Device Cannot Start
I was a victim of a lightning storm which led my PC to crash and I had to do a clean windows installation because my OS became corrupted with lots of Why won't it load in normal mode? I have tried uninstalling the driver, restarting, installing the updated drivers etc with no success. I put it into my X30 and get the "1802" error.No problem.I do the no-1802 trick and that worked.It boots up into Windows XP Pro fine. I go to the device manager and I get (code 10). This might not be in any way related but it's hard to tell if there is something going on back there.
In thise case i had to use a Toshiba wireless card with the same chipset to work in my Thinkpad. A very common issue when there is a driver-hardware issue. However I decided to do a clean install of Windows 7 again to solve the issue and everything is back to normal except the Ethernet Adapter.
