It would be an amazing coincidence if the sata connector on the laptop just happened to go back while reinstalling an OS, so I'm leaning toward some kind of software issue. Why were pre-election polls and forecast models so wrong about Donald Trump?

I am not able to delete and format the drive.I do not use torrent and such type of file share software, however thank you for your good advice. My mistake.
