And if the file locations of the JARs have long pathnames, well then the classpath will be a monster, character-count wise. my review here It's not clear why, but the path lost C:\Program Files (x86)\Git\bin and the version of Git I was using comes with sh.exe.

The issue is that the RAPC compiler calls the JAR utility, building a command line that consosists of all the class files in the application.
